Emulating the functionalities of modern frameworks which is base on React TodoMVC. This demonstration serves to showcase that HTMX, when paired with _hyperscript, can replicate if not all the behaviors typically associated with most modern client framework with minimum needs to write javascript.

Usage

use node v21 or newer
run npm install
copy env cp .env.example .env
run npm run dev
visit http://localhost:8888
alternatively you can compile into executable with npm run build
for e2e testing, run in the root folder git clone https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress-example-todomvc
cd cypress-example-todomvc
npm install
if you need to see the test in browser run npm run cypress:open
for headless test npm run cypress:run

All File structures is following AdonisJS Framework guidelines.

Initially created with npm init adonisjs@latest todomvc-adonisjs-react-htmx-_hyperscript -- --kit=api
Middleware is added to handle formatting request query with i.e., node ace make:middleware format
Services is added using DI(Dependencies Injection) i.e., node ace make:service todo, read more at https://docs.adonisjs.com/guides/concepts/dependency-injection#dependency-injection
Controller is added with i.e., node ace make:controller page
Session support is added with node ace add @adonisjs/session
Static file support is added with node ace add @adonisjs/static
Resources for React is place at resources/components
Resources for static _hyperscript is place at public/hs
