Ethernet Library

The Ethernet library includes verification components for Ethernet Phy and MAC that support GMII/RGMII/MII/RMII.

Testbenches are Included

Testbenches are in the Git repository, so you can run a simulation and see a live example of how to use the models.

    • xMiiPhy.vhd - Phy VC that supports GMII/RGMII/MII/RMII
    • xMiiPhyRxTransmitter.vhd - Handles TX interface for Phy
    • xMiiPhyTxReceiver.vhd - Handles RX interface for Phy
    • xMiiMac.vhd - Mac VC that supports GMII/RGMII/MII/RMII
    • xMiiMacTransmitter.vhd - Handles TX interface for MAC
    • xMiiMacReceiver.vhd - Handles RX interface for MAC
    • xMiiTbPkg.vhd - Package with Types, Constants, and Subprograms supporting xMiiPhy and xMiiMac
    • xMiiComponentPkg.vhd - package with component declaration for xMiiPhy and xMiiMac
    • xMiiContext.vhd - Package references for xMiiPhy and xMiiMac
  • TestStandAlone (directory)
    • TbStandAlone.vhd - Test harness that connects Phy to MAC VC to do a standalone test.
    • TestCtrl_e.vhd - entity declaration for test sequencer
    • Tb_xMii1.vhd - test architecture

Download OSVVM Libraries

OSVVM is available as either a git repository OsvvmLibraries or zip file from osvvm.org Downloads Page.

On GitHub, all OSVVM libraries are a submodule of the repository OsvvmLibraries. Download all OSVVM libraries using git clone with the “–recursive” flag:

  $ git clone --recursive https://github.com/osvvm/OsvvmLibraries

Run The Demos

A great way to get oriented with OSVVM is to run the demos. For directions on running the demos, see OSVVM Scripts.

Participating and Project Organization

The OSVVM project welcomes your participation with either issue reports or pull requests.

DpRam/src

DpRam behavioral and verification components. Build these using DpRam/DpRam.pro script.

DpRam/testbench

The testbench provides testbenches to verify the DpRam src components.
