Perseus-Word-Search

A graphical interface for Mac OS X to browse the greek word database of Perseus Digital Library [1].

The application is developed by Librum [2]; it contains a library to manipulate greek characters and diacritics, using an extension of unicode that include more ancient greek glyphs.

The application is currently localized for english and italian; it could be easily localized in more languages.

Usage

When you start the application, you'll have an empty word list. To populate the list, you've two ways:

You can find the file containing all greek verbs in this repository.

After you've populate the list, you can filter it using the search field. You can use a latin keyboard, mapping between latin and greek characters is as follow (beta code convention [4]):
