Gotchas
- Use RU.efi modify BIOS to disable CFG Lock(0x3E=0x00) and enable DVMT(0xF5=0x02). Use
Ctrl+Wto save the change. And the DVMT is within the SaSetup, which is different from CFG Lock which locates within CpuSetup. - Mostly followed 折腾 7080MFF 黑苹果 OpenCore to prepare the EFI for both installation and daily running environment.
- The
SSDT-RHUB.amlneeds to be removed if you manually mapped your USB ports with Hackintool by using theUSBPorts.kext. - The
AirportItlwm.kextwill cause kernel panic now.
Upgrading

You might encounter
IPI Timekernel panic during upgrading to newer version of macOS. I suspect it was still due to the sleeping tweak is not fully working. The mitigation right now is use the USB stick to boot up with the Installation EFI successfully. Then remove the USB stick and reboot again normally into the system. -
FakePCIID can cause kernel panic when upgrade to Monterey, these kernel module must delete or disable before upgrade to Monterey!!!
修改DVMT和CFG LOCK
- 无法使用Grub Setup_var 需要用到Ru.efi 将Ru.efi在BIOS中添加进Boot Menus 后启动 进入Ru后按 "Alt" + "=" 并
查找 CPUSetup 和 SaSetup
- 解锁"CFG-LOCK" 找到CPUSetup 将横排 "0030" "0E" 位改为 00 按 Ctrl + W 保存
- 修改DVMT 搜索 SaSetup 将横排 "00F0" "05" 位改为 "02" 按 Ctrl + W 保存
