GCM Client for Android

Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) client for Android.

Requirements

• server side registered to GCM service

• Project ID (Sender) obtained from Google API Console

Compilation and Installation

• Download the code

$ git clone https://github.com/huberflores/GCMClient.git

• Import the project into Eclipse

File -> Import -> General -> Project into workspace

• Open the class CommonUtilities.java

• Set a valid SENDER_ID and SERVER_URL

• Export apk file and install

Installation in Android simulator

Installation in Android simulator requires to establish Google APIs as core libraries before starting the emulator.
