R-Ladies growth

This map was built using gganimate v0.1.1. It breaks with the latest version.

Here is the code to make this map:

I used the ggmap package to access maps from the Google Maps API, and the gganimate package to build the animation.

There is also the code I used to make this other map, a very similar one using Plotly (here a screenshot to see a label):
