[Project Page] [Paper] [Dataset]
Requirements
- python 2.7
- numpy
- tensorflow-gpu
- opendr
- opencv-python
Installation
-
Setup im2smpl in
path/to/im2smpl
according to this guidance -
Clone this repository and install required libraries:
cd path/to/deephuman git clone https://github.com/ZhengZerong/DeepHuman cd DeepHuman virtualenv deephuman_env source deephuman_env/bin/activate pip install -r requirements.txt
-
Build voxelizer:
cd voxelizer mkdir build & cd build cmake .. make
-
Change the path configuration at LINE
23
ofmain_prepare_natural_img.py
accordingly -
Download our pre-trained model:
mkdir results & cd results wget https://github.com/ZhengZerong/DeepHuman/releases/download/0.0/results_final_19_09_30_10_29_33.tar.gz tar -xzf results_final_19_09_30_10_29_33.tar.gz
Testing
Prepare your image (tightly cropping and resizing to 512x512 where the height of the person is roughly 450px) and run:
python2 main_prepare_natural_img.py --file ./examples/img.jpg
python2 main_infer_natural_img.py --file ./examples/img.jpg
Training
-
Download THUman dataset and upzip it into
TrainingDataPreparation/dataset
directory. Then updateTrainingDataPreparation/dataset/data_list.txt
accordingly. We provide one sample data item for reference. -
Prepare your own background images in
TrainingDataPreparation/bg_img
and updateTrainingDataPreparation/bg_img/img_list.txt
accordingly. You can use images from LSUN dataset. We provide one sample image item for reference. -
Run the following command to generate training data:
cd TrainingDataPreparation/ python2 main_render_final.py # generate training images python2 main_voxelize_final.py # generate input/output volumes
-
Define your own training/testing split in LINE
17-22
inmain_train.py
. After that, run the following command to train the network:python2 main_train.py
NOTE: Due to the inherent limitation of our data capturing system, the THUman dataset doesn't contain enough human models with loose clothes like skirts, dresses, coats, etc. If you want to make the network more general and robust for different garments, you may need to collect more data from other sources such as RenderPeople, 3DPeople, DeepFashion3D, etc.
