GEM: Global Environmental Multiscale Model

The Global Environmental Multiscale Model (GEM) is an integrated forecasting and data assimilation system developed by the Atmospheric Numerical Prediction Research Section, Meteorological Research Division, of Environment and Climate Change Canada.

Branches

There are several branches in this repository: please make sure you use the proper branch and its corresponding README file, according to your needs:

• master branch: current stable version of GEM, presently 5.2, README-install.md
• 5.1 branch: stable version, used in production at the Canadian Meteorological Centre, README.md
• 5.2 branch: stable version, README.md
• 5.3 branch: current development version, README.md
• benchmarks branch: for the latest benchmarks, see README.md, for ITQ benchmarks, see README-ITQ.md.
